Failure Analysis, Repair & Support

Independent root cause analysis (RCA) of failed equipment in collaboration with experienced laboratories. Setting up action plan with repair procedures and guidance during repair. RCA of high weld repair rates.

Independent technical expert during legal conflicts or arbitration cases.

Welding consultancy

Full support with all welding related activities. From visual inspections, setting op welding plans, guidance during qualification and laboratory testing up to responsible welding coordinator. Practical and theoretical knowledge of HSLA steels, Creep resistant steels, High pressure purpose steels at elevated temperatures and Stainless steels such as Duplex and austenitic steels.

New Build Inspection

2nd and 3rd party inspections (non-accredited, vendor inspections) of metal fabricated equipment, such as pressure containing parts according to design codes, PED and/or client specific standards. Steel structures according to design code, international standards and/or client specific standards.

In-Service Inspection

Inspection of static equipment within upstream, downstream and power industry. These inspections can be condition based, life time extensions or regulatory inspections according to local legislation. On-site inspector, senior inspector or lead inspector according to WBDA during turn-around’s or scheduled maintenance.

QA/QC Engineering & Support

Full traceability (LISL, etc.), contract specifications review, setting up waivers. Guidance with QA manuals and instructions. Site QA/QC representative during new-build project or turn-arrounds. QA/QC vocal point during projects, organize (pre-)inspection meetings and setting up Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
